Minería y construcción los entornos operativos en el sitio representan uno de los escenarios de trabajo más duros para rodamientos. Las cargas continuas pesadas, el fuerte impacto de choque cíclico, la vibración persistente, las grandes cantidades de polvo mineral, la arena y la humedad ocasional colocan colectivamente demandas rigurosas sobre el rendimiento de los rodamientos. La maquinaria típica en el sitio cubre principalmente pantallas vibratorias, trituradoras de mandíbulas, trituradoras de conos, excavadoras de alta resistencia, transportadoras de materiales a granel y otros equipos de construcción de núcleo.
