First launched in 2013, LATIN AMERICA EXPOMEC is held annually in Guayaquil. The previous show gathered 65 well‑known brands from Ecuador, Venezuela, Colombia, Peru, the United States, Panama, Argentina, Japan, China (including Taiwan region) and other regions, featuring renowned names such as Indima, Rinter, Maresa, Bosch, Liquimoly, Maxiauto and Frenoseguro. Nearly 8,000 professional buyers and visitors attended the fair, making it one of the most influential professional auto‑parts exhibitions across the Andean region.
As a professional supplier of automotive bearings and supporting auto‑parts, BMT showcased a full portfolio of replacement bearings for trucks, commercial vehicles and construction machinery at the exhibition. We held face‑to‑face communications with distributors, repair workshops and buyers from Ecuador and surrounding Andean markets. We gained in‑depth understanding of local automotive aftermarket demands, presented bearing solutions tailored for local vehicle models, explored new distribution partners and further consolidated BMT’s business layout in the northwest South‑American market.
