The WAAS West Africa Automotive Show in Nigeria is one of the most authoritative and influential professional automotive exhibitions in West Africa. The previous edition covered a total exhibition area of 10,000 square meters, gathering 203 exhibitors from China, South Africa, Dubai, Turkey, Japan, South Korea and other countries, attracting 12,800 professional visitors worldwide. The exhibition provides a unique and valuable platform for international suppliers and local African buyers to communicate face-to-face, establish trade cooperation, discuss optimal business solutions and analyze the latest industry trends.

As the largest economy in Africa and an important country along the Belt and Road, Nigeria boasts huge market potential. It currently has a population of 206 million, and the United Nations forecasts its population will reach 440 million by 2050, creating enormous growth space for the local automotive aftermarket. Lagos, the economic capital and core port city of West Africa, controls 90% of Nigeria’s foreign trade, 80% of import and export volume and 70% of the national manufacturing industry, serving as the key distribution hub for auto parts trade in West Africa.
At this exhibition, BMT presented a full range of automotive, motorcycle and truck replacement bearings, as well as complete auto and motorcycle spare parts. During the event, the BMT team conducted in-depth business discussions with importers, wholesalers, maintenance service providers and auto parts distributors from Nigeria and neighboring West African countries. We thoroughly studied local vehicle matching standards and aftermarket replacement demands, displayed high-quality and durable bearing and auto parts solutions, accumulated abundant high-quality local customer resources, further explored the blue-chip market of West Africa, and effectively enhanced BMT’s brand popularity and market share in the African automotive and industrial supporting industry.
